The Department of Aesthetic and Cosmetology at The Khalida Memorial Institute of Allied Health & Medical Sciences (KIAS) is committed to advancing excellence in aesthetic education, clinical training, innovation, and professional development. The Department prepares students to excel in non-invasive cosmetic procedures, advanced skin and hair care, cosmetic formulation, and clinical aesthetics, while contributing to technological innovation, wellness practices, and societal confidence.
The programme is developed in accordance with the standards and academic framework of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), affiliated with Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering & Information Technology, and benchmarked against internationally recognised aesthetic and cosmetology curricula. Our outcome-based curriculum combines theoretical knowledge of human anatomy, dermatology fundamentals, and pharmacology with clinical-grade practical training.
Students learn in a dynamic environment enriched by highly qualified faculty, state-of-the-art clinical aesthetics laboratories, advanced diagnostic and treatment equipment, and collaborative practical spaces — with hands-on laser operations, skin analysis, advanced chemical peel applications, cosmetic formulation projects, supervised clinical rotations, and professional workshops.

Admission Criteria
Eligibility: Higher Secondary School Certificate / A-levels (minimum 12 years of schooling) or an IBCC equivalent qualification with at least 50% marks. Candidates may also be required to pass an entry test conducted by the university or admission authority, along with any other criteria set by the institution such as interviews or aptitude assessments.
